Pay From the Heart Pricing

This is not “pay what you want,” it is “Pay From the Heart,” which is a shared agreement: we name what’s sustainable for us, and you choose a price that you can truly stand behind, without causing harm to your life or your nervous system. If you’ve joined the Rahma Ramadan Circle in the past, you would have seen the different options I tried out. Sliding scales can get confusing and overly complicated. This  approach is our way of keeping the door open for people who genuinely need it, while also protecting what it takes to keep showing up with care and capacity.

Our economic system is not fair. And all of our hearts are needed right now. If you need this circle, we want you to be able to join us.

What’s sustainable for us

We’re going to offer two numbers, clearly:

• Sustainable price: $199

• If you can pay this, it helps sustain our work and makes room for those who truly cannot.
  
  

• Minimum requested: $150

• This is still Pay From the Heart, which means it has to agree with our heart, too. Below $150, the model stops being sustainable if many people choose it

• The “food or shelter” exception

• If paying $150 would put your food or housing at risk, we invite you to pay less, with sincerity and no shame. This is also the case if you live in an economy where the exchange rate makes these numbers feel enormous relative to local income. If you’re truly on the edge, choose what keeps you safe and stable.

How to choose your number

1. First, decide if you’re joining.
   Feel what it would mean to be held before and throughout Ramadan in a steady, like-hearted circle.
   
   

2. Then choose your contribution.
   If you can pay $199 (even if it’s a stretch), please do.
   If that stretch feels like it would break you or make you walk away, choose a number between $150–$199 that feels honest.

3. If you truly cannot access $150 without risking stability, choose a number below $150.
